Council Facilities

The Library is on the High Road just north of the Tube. It is a very
small library but has photocopying and internet facilities, as well as
many books in large print. Next to the Library is the Town Hall, now known as the Municipal Buildings. It acts as a "One-stop shop" for Council services, providing information and forms, and acting as a polling centre during elections. |

There are also public toilets next to Coronation Gardens. They cost 20p to use; one is suitable for the disabled.
Sports Facilities
Leyton Leisure Lagoon has a gym, swimming pool, sauna and sunbeds. A range of keep fit classes are hosted in the gym, and the swimming pool has women only sessions with female lifeguards, to enable those of various religious beliefs to enjoy swimming.
There are recreation grounds at the back of Coronation Gardens in Leyton High Road including tennis courts and a football training pitch. In Ive Farm Close south of the Tube there are various sports pitches, an athletics track and a Pavilion.
Leyton Cricket Ground was used as an Essex county ground until 1933.
