Regular Events
Leyton Shotokan Karate Club - Plumtree Centre a.k.a. Millennium Centre (above Blockbusters video store in Bakers Arms). We train on Monday and Wednesday evenings; Junior lessons from 7.00pm to 8.00pm and Adults from 8.00pm to 9.30pm. It costs £20 for Juniors and £30 for Adults per calendar month, payable on the first training session of the month. The Real Singing School (East London)
Vocal workshop group for 11-16yrs meets every Thursday evening from 6.30 - 8.0 0pm(in the Leyton/Leytonstone area) An introduction to vocal training and advic e on performance by vocal coach Jools Factor (former professional singer/Polydor recording artiste) Pop, Soul/R n B Musical Theatre. Waltham Forest Open Space Focus Group meet on the second Thursday of the month at the Hornbeam Environmental Centre in Hoe Street. Join them at 1930pm. Free refreshments.
Grove House CIU club in Leyton High Road hold regular events for members and visitors. Events range from pensioners' night through to raffles, bingo, live music and entertainments. They are keen to welcome new faces - for more information see their listing on the Community page.
